A family adventure with challenges

The location was a gem, with all the main sights just a short stroll away. We enjoyed tasty lunches at the hotel that didn’t break the bank, making for a delightful dining experience.

The room left much to be desired. The loud street traffic and absence of a proper bathroom window made sleep elusive. The alternatives offered were worse than our own room.

The vibrant atmosphere of Khaosan Road was exhilarating, but the surrounding area felt unsafe at night. I appreciated the daily housekeeping and the hotel's proximity to major attractions like the Grand Palace.

Historic location but cleanliness was lacking.

The location was sweet as, heaps close to Khao San Road. But the room felt outdated and definitely needed a spruce up—bit of a letdown, mate. it was okay.

the royal has a great location, super close to the city center. the room was spacious and comfortable. i appreciated the friendly service from the staff during check-in. the atmosphere was calm and relaxing, making it a nice view while visiting nearby attractions.

The bathroom enjoyed decent size and decent amenities, making it practical for a traveler needing a quick rinse after a day outing. The bedding provided a surprising level of warmth and comfort, a rare find in many places nowadays.

Coming in, I spotted a dead roach near the entrance—definitely not the warmest welcome. My Deluxe Double Room overlooked a busy avenue, giving me four sleepless nights thanks to constant traffic noise and subpar sound isolation. the cleanliness left much to be desired. I hesitated to use the makeup chair due to its dirty state. It can be inconvenient, especially with the limited pool hours, closing by 6 PM – not the best for evening relaxation when you’ve been out all day. On a family trip, they provided only one card key for three beds, creating unnecessary hassle.

I stayed for five nights and loved the large, comfortable rooms with A/C. The breakfast was tasty and fresh. the WiFi was super patchy and frustrating.

The small sun-bathing terrace and secure parking were definite perks during my visit. It’s in a perfect spot for exploring nearby temples.
